Thanks to everyone’s help in making our Owls Fight for a Cure event so successful! We raised $1800!! That’s three times what we raised for Pink Zone in February 2009! Congratulations on a successful event! Every team was integral in helping this event achieve it’s success!!

Everyone came out to support the BMC Swim team and their quest to “swim for a cure’ tonight!

Yesterday a handful of Bryn Mawr athletes volunteered their Saturday to stuff bags of packaged foods for runners taking part in the marathon today.

Today, a dozen BMC athletes poured gallons and gallons of water and ade-gator, handed out thousands of cups, cheered for runners and then picked up all the discarded cups all before 8:30 am.

What did they receive for getting to the rest stop near PennLanding at 6:10 am? A free bright yellow hoodie!

Enjoy the pictures from the early morning activity!

Owls Fight for a Cure (Part I) is upon us!

Tomorrow we will be having a Coffeehour (9:30-10:30), tabling in the Campus Center and have the basketball team open their 2009-2010 season at 6:00 against our neighbor Rosemont!

And of course Bryn Mawr’s own Racquettes will be performing during half-time of the Bryn Mawr Game

Please come out throughout the day to support your Owls and breast cancer research!

…and don’t forget to BYOMug!

Please clean out your lockers by Nov. 19!

All items remaining in lockers or on the floor will be thrown out! So get your stuff!
